U15 soccer v Pres Carlow 15th Nov 2017 Drew 3-3

The u15's are still searching for their first win of the year after this game. Missing a couple of first team regulars, Borris put themselves under serious pressure right from kick off. Miscommunication at the back saw Borris conceding after about 6 seconds of the first half!

After coming to terms with that shock, Borris grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and dominated the rest of the half. They went in 3-1 ahead at half time and cruising.

The second half started with more of the same but Borris failed to take the chances their incisive play deserved. This was punished with 15 minutes to go as Pres capitalized on some sloppy defending to bring the score to 3-2. As the final whistle approached Borris went in search for a fourth goal when perhaps it would've been better to shut up shop. Pres always posed a danger.

And sure enough Borris' bad luck continued. Pres scored with a wonder strike with 5 minutes to go to level the game and share the points.

In a thrilling game, best for Borris were James Bible, Jamie Behan and Daire Murphy.
