Student Council 1718

The student council is representative of year groups from second year to sixth year.  Students are nominated and elected to the council by their year group annually.  The student council meets regularly and puts forward recommendations to management on issues of concern to students i.e. facilities, services and supports for students and school policies.

The following officers have been elected. Chairperson is Maeve Fortune; Vice-Chairperson is Shannon Cowman Kehoe; Secretary is Dawson Kelly; PRO is Steve Tracey.

In total our council has 22 members with students coming from 2nd year - 6th year. We meet at lunchtime every two weeks. This year we hope to continue to help improve school life for all students, produce our newsletter three times a year, review school policies and do some fundraising. We helped show future students and their parents around our school on the Open Evening.
