On Sunday April 29th Borris Vocational School had 12 crews participating in the Irish School Regatta in Shannonbridge Co Limerick.
Congratulations to Ultan Irwin on winning the u15 Single Scull. He is now the National School Champion.
Congratulations also to the U15 Girls Quad consisting of Abbi Keane, Michelle Kavanagh, Nancy Roberts, Kate Poole and Rachel Roberts - Also now National School Champions. The girls u23 Eight finished 3rd in the final and well done to all involved.
Borris Vocational school recently hosted the Regional Final of the IMTA Maths Competition for first year students. Students from schools in Wicklow, Wexford and Kildare participated along with our own Ronan Lalor, Cathal O’Shea and Darragh Travers. Well done to all students in what was a very competitive competition and many congratulations to Ronan Lalor who came third on the night

2018 National Secondary Schools Golf Championships in Fermoy
70 TY students took part in the annual Health Fest in Blanchardstown last Thursday. Organised by the National Dairy Council and Safefood, Health Fest is a fun-filled and informative event featuring some of Ireland’s top experts, helping to encourage healthy habits for students now – and for their future. Speakers included Karl Henry - Fitness Expert, TV and Radio Broadcaster, Author and Columnist; Eoghan McDermott - Radio/TV Presenter and chef Adrian Martin. The TY students had a chance to take part in some Zumba classes, Active sports, a Silent Disco and many other fun and healthy events.
